This is a self portrait done in water colours. I used an old photo to recreate my face. Here I have used watercolours and to create the texture in the face I have used an unknown South Indian script in various densities.
This is a painting I did during my illustration course. This is a self portrait in Rembrant's style. I used a photo of myself for reference. This was a really challenging assignment, trying to imitate Rembrant has been an overwhelming task. Mainly because he was the master of portraits and chiaroscuro. This one is done using poster colours. I also did one using the same composition in oil paint, since that is the medium Rembrant used.

Conceptualising nature's beauty. Water colours on paper.

This is my version of my grandmother's portrait. It has many meanings and is extremely layered, it does seem a little negative on the surface, but it actually is about her life and how I connect to it even though I was never a part of it. I used a photo for reference and it is done in acrylic on canvas.

This is a painting done using water colours. It is called Stationary, even though I am trying to show movement, since it depicts the life of a rag picker in Mumbai on the move.
